The rooms we are using are accessible by stairs or lift, the day will include presentations, listening to speakers and practical workshops; there will be opportunities to ask questions verbally and to chat with the speakers and other participants. Please let us know if there any access requirements you would like us to be aware of using the box below or email us. Do any pupils or teachers in your party have any allergies? (If so, please detail.) There will be a live cookery workshop, including tasting, taking place on the day.

Please number the workshops your school would like to attend in preference order, with number 1 being your first choice. Where possible we will be keeping school groups together, other than the Team Repair workshop (which is for years 7 - 9) and the bicycle repair workshop. The bicycle repair workshop will be offered to 6 individual pupils from any attending school. Participants should ideally own their own bicycle, so they can put the hands on skills into practice at home. You are not required to bring your bicycle along on the day, bicycles will be provided for the training session.

Creative workshop - this workshop will give participants the opportunity to respond creatively to the topic of climate change through paint and creative writing.

(Years 7 - 9 only) Repair workshop with Team Repair – this workshops will guide you through a repair activity, giving you the opportunity to take apart and fix real products.

Nature and biodiversity workshop with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) - this hands on workshop led by a facilitator from the RHS, will explore the local nature and biodiversity and its link with climate.

Cookery workshop at Mercato Metropolitano - during this hands on session you will learn how to cook creative recipes which are not only environmentally friendly, but also taste amazing!

Solar for Schools energy workshop - this practical session will include a demonstration of the Solar Explorer kit and a hands on activity looking at household/school appliances and energy consumption.

Sewing workshops - we have two sewing workshops on offer, these workshops are double the length of the other workshops. The two sewing workshops will be practical, hands on workshops on "How to upcycle your denim" and "Bag making from recycled materials"

(INDIVIDUAL STUDENT OFFER) Bicycle Repair - Led by 'Recycles' trained mechanics you will learn essential day to day skills to keep your bike running smoothly.
