The Neighbourhood Engagement and Education Team within Civic Pride are hosting the borough’s first ever Youth Climate and Sustainability Forum with a range of exciting internal and external partners.
Caring for our local and global environment is a topic that resonates deeply with our young people in Redbridge. This is about preserving the world we call home, creating hope for the future, empowering young citizens to be literate in current challenges and to be active in bringing solutions.
The event is open to borough secondary schools, who have all been invited to bring one teacher and a small selection of interested pupils each. The day will consist of informative and inspiring keynote addresses, interactive workshops and opportunities for participants to share ideas which will be fed back to our organisation.
At the end of the day, we will gather outside the Town Hall for a photoshoot (professional photography kindly provided by Ilford BID) with banners we have had the chance to make during the day.
