London borough of Redbridge is proud to be building 20 new homes at Budoch Court. These homes will vary in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms, with a portion of these homes built and adapted for wheelchair accessibility. They will consist of a combination of flats as well as a one storey roof extension to two existing blocks.
The work on the new affordable homes at Budoch Court has not progressed for some time now due to contractual legal issues involving the contractors, Cosmur Construction.
The Council has been working hard in recent months to resolve these issues without success and therefore the contract with Cosmur has now ended and the Council is back in possession of the site.
We are committed both to providing much needed new affordable housing to rent but also to improving Budoch Court for its existing residents and we will keep you updated on any new developments and how we are looking to progress the development.
