The Neighbourhood Engagement and Education Team within Civic Pride are hosting the borough’s second youth climate and sustainability event, the Youth Eco Skills Festival, with a range of exciting internal and external partners.
Caring for our local and global environment is a topic that resonates deeply with our young people in Redbridge. This is about preserving the world we call home, creating hope for the future, empowering young citizens to be literate in current challenges and to be active in bringing solutions.
The event is open to all Redbridge secondary schools, who are invited to bring one teacher and up to 6 pupils each. The day will consist of informative and inspiring keynote addresses, interactive workshops and opportunities for participants to share ideas which will be fed back to the wider council.
