High-Rise Residents: Building Safety Consultation
We want to make sure you and your family feel safe and secure in your home. That’s why the London Borough of Redbridge Council is launching a consultation with all residents living in high-rise buildings (HRB).We’re asking for your opinions on our fire and building safety plans, including a new Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy tailored for your building.
Keeping You Informed and Involved
Throughout 2023–2025, we kept you updated about fire and building safety. Now, we’re starting a full consultation, running until January 2026, where your feedback will shape how we keep your building safe.
What’s Happening?
We will visit residents in their home to get feedback on the information we have sent you about fire safety measures in your building.
The feedback you give us will help shape the building safety resident engagement strategy specific to your block.
we will share a copy of the new strategy with every resident aged 16+
We will ask you for more feedback on the new strategy.
How you can help?
Your feedback is very important to us and you can help us make sure that our approach to building safety is right for you and your family by taking the time to complete the surveys.
By working together, we can make sure your building stays a safe and welcoming home for everyone.
