Choose your Working Group

Introduction to Working Groups

The next stage of the Gants Hill Community Research Project is Action.

At the Analysis Hackathon Weekender in November, we identified 4 priority areas to work on. These are:

  • We want to create more opportunities to bring people together from different walks of life through shared spaces and activities.
  • We want Gants Hill to be a litter-free and uplifting place, where everyone does their bit.
  • We want to explore how antisocial behaviour impacts our community, and what we can do about it.
  • We want to enable people with language barriers to fully participate in our community.

To take this forward, we are going to create Working Groups of each priority area to decide what’s next. We will be supporting you to decide and lead on the activity and inviting colleagues and local partners to be involved as well. To begin with, Working Groups will meet fortnightly. We encourage you to think about your area of interest or passion to help decide which Working Group you would like to be involved in, and how much time you can realistically commit.

The Working Groups are open for anyone to join and you do not have had to be involved in the Community Research Project previously to be involved.

If a Working Group has less than 5 members, we will be in touch and ask you to choose another group.
