The Gants Hill Community Research Project is run between resident volunteers, London Borough of Redbridge, University College London and Mutual Gain.
Since June, we have been working together to understand more about the communities of Gants Hill. Through co-design workshops, we decided to focus our research on three areas:
- Different communities in Gants Hill and how we get along
- The shared spaces and activities that bring us together
- The impact of litter on our mental health
Over summer 2021, we conducted interviews, an online survey, photography, and an observation to capture people’s thoughts and feelings around these topics.
In November 2021, we came together to analyse our research activities and plan next steps. Below sets out an updated version of the priorities which reflect the key findings of the research and the actions we identified together. We would like your feedback on these and to understand what you would like to get involved in moving forward. This survey will take up to 15 minutes to complete.
