As part of the Marley the Mammoth mural project, pupils from Cleveland Road Primary School undertook their own exciting research journey into Ilford's fascinating Ice Age past. Inspired by the historical discovery of the Ilford Mammoth near their local area, students have enthusiastically explored prehistoric life, learning about the mammoths and other Ice Age animals that roamed Ilford around 200,000 years ago.
