Could your business help support our young people as they move from foster or residential care, into adulthood?
Striking out into the world on your own for the first time is exciting and daunting for all of us. It’s even more difficult for those without supportive families to fall back on, or for those who can’t stay at home for other reasons.
Redbridge Council is implementing the Care Leaver Covenant, which is a national inclusion programme that aims to improve outcomes for young people aged 16-25 who are leaving foster/residential care. Its mission is to ensure that care leavers are better prepared to live independently, have improved access to employment, education and training, feel safe and secure, have improved access to health support, and achieve financial stability.
We are asking local organisations if they can help. If you are able to help with any of the below, please register your interest by completing the form below.
