We are asking people to tell us what they think about our updated Direct Payments policies. There are two separate policy documents: one for adults and one for children. These policies explain how Direct Payments work and what support is available.
Direct Payments can give people more choice and control over their care and support. We have updated the policies because services and ways of working have changed since the original policy was written in 2018. Having separate policies will help make the information clearer for adults, children, young people and families.
We want to hear from people who use Direct Payments, families, carers, staff, providers and anyone else who is interested. Your feedback will help us make sure the policies are easy to understand and meet the needs of the people who use them.
