What is the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment?
The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is report that all local authorities must produce every three years. It looks at the provision of pharmacy services for all of us in Redbridge and identifies if there are any gaps that need to be addressed. London Borough of Redbridge and its NHS and community and voluntary sector partners can use this information in designing strategies for health and care services and pathways, and in our work with communities and residents to support good health.
The Redbridge Health and Wellbeing Board has responsibility for producing and publishing the PNA and the final document will be presented and discussed at the Board’s meeting in September this year.
What do we need from you?
We are inviting you to comment on the draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) for Redbridge Council.
The PNA is a key document used to identify local needs for community pharmacy services, and your input is vital in helping us ensure the assessment is reflective of the population’s needs. We welcome comments on the content, accuracy, and any areas you feel require further consideration.
Please note, the consultation will close on 15th August 2025.
