How can the CIS inform your work?

The CIS brings together data from a range of sources, including NHS Choices, Care Opinion, Google reviews, Healthwatch surveys, GP website feedback, Healthwatch ‘enter and views’, Patient Advice and Liaison Services and complaints data, compliments, community insight projects and voluntary and community sector projects.

The database holds around 75,000 comments from residents, giving us approximately 336,000 separately coded issues that we can use to rapidly generate reports. Sitting underneath is a wealth of qualitative data that can be analysed to better understand what our communities are telling us. We can match trends to specific resident quotes to provide detailed evidence of what is going on.

This 45 minute session, by the system's developer will talk you through:

• What is in the system - from health and care services through to wider wellbeing determinants.
• How information is processed.
• The trends analysis reports and underlying feedback - what they consist of, and how to produce them.
• Q&As.
