On Sunday, 25th February, Redbridge Council, in collaboration with the River Roding Trust, organised a fantastic community litter pick along the River Roding from the Loxford side.
A huge thank you to our six dedicated residents who volunteered their time to help protect and restore our local environment! Special appreciation to Abdul, Janet, and Jackie, who not only helped with litter picking but also planted four Alder trees to support local biodiversity. π³π
Together, we:
β Collected 42 bags of waste β»οΈ β Planted 4 Alder trees πΏ β Collected plastic bottle lids for an exciting upcoming recycled plastic bottle lid mural that will be installed on Ilford Lane π¨π
