On Monday, 27th November, Ilford BID and Redbridge Council organised the Ilford Lane Litter-Picking Action Day, bringing together nearly 30 people across the community and the local businesses. Despite the cold weather, we were happy to have Councillor Jo Blackman, Councillor Muhammed Javed, Councillor Zulfiqar Hussain, Ilford Islamic Centre, Loxford Muslim Society, Mont Rose College, Jerram Falkus, Apex Associates LLP, add of course our residents there!
Everyone joined forces on the streets of Ilford Lane to clean up and make a visible difference to our area. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this fantastic effort. Together, we have shown the power of teamwork and community pride in keeping our neighbourhood clean and welcoming.
