Consultation Update:
From 29 September - 9 November 2022 Redbridge residents and frequent visitors were invited to participate in an innovative online map-based consultation.
Responders were asked to give feedback on their experiences and priorities for Redbridge’s environment, connections, safety, heritage, character, uses, and development to help the Council plan what type of development should be planned and where.
Throughout these 6 weeks, the Council was able to reach 27,299 people and collected 438 responses.
Key themes that emerged:
What's next?
The data collected from the “Tell us about Redbridge!” consultation will aid the Council in establishing:
What is valued in particular areas of Redbridge, and borough-wide, to guide what should be protected, maintained, and enhanced;
Future community consultations to address key themes and feedback from responders; and
Incorporating resident’s priorities for change in land use planning documents and decisions.
Furthermore, the data has been shared across the Council to ensure key themes and feedback are incorporated in the ongoing development of Council projects, plans, and policies in support of The Redbridge Plan 2022-26, such projects as the Ilford Lane Public Lane Project (which you can learn more abouthere).
