The Growth Commission was led by an independent group of six highly skilled and respected individuals and represented a great opportunity for residents tohelp shape how we grow Redbridge together and ensure that as wegrow, everyone in Redbridge can benefit.
As well as bringing a diverse range of experiences, the Commissioners heard from residents, as well as local businesses, voluntary sector groups, faith leaders, developers and others to explore ways in which to do growth better.
The Commission operated from July 2020 to September 2020 and as a result, commissioners have produced the Growing Redbridge Together report (which can be found in the documents section) which includes a series of recommendations on how to do growth better in Redbridge.
As a response to the Growing Redbridge Together report, we want to work with the community to develop an action plan to turn recommendations into reality and grow Redbridge better together. We'll regularly update with opportunities, workshops and engagement tools to get involved in turning recommendations into actions.
