We’re putting in measures to protect local people from the effects of gambling. Let us know what you think of our plans.
We want to protect local people from the harms of gambling. We explain how we do this in our Statement of Gambling Principles and want to know your thoughts on how effective it is.
We have to review this statement every three years and have an opportunity to add further measures to make gambling safe for local people.
One measure we are including in the policy is the identification of areas where the risk of gambling-related harm is particularly high. In these areas, any gambling business applying for a license must demonstrate that they have thoroughly addressed our concerns regarding the potential impact before a license can be granted.
We value your feedback on how we currently safeguard people from the harms of gambling, as well as on the new measures we are implementing. We encourage you to share your thoughts by completing the survey below.
