Welcome
Child Friendly Communities is a UNICEF UK programme that works with councils to put children’s rights into practice
The programme aims to create communities in the UK where all children –whether they are living in care, using a children’s centre, or simply visiting their local library –have a meaningful say in, and truly benefit from, the local decisions, services and spaces that shape their lives
The Child Friendly Redbridge Partnership is made up of Redbridge Council, Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure, schools, colleges, youth groups, children centres, community groups, the police and health partners (NELFT, CCG and BHRUT).
The Partnership has been working together to listen to children and young people across the borough and ask them two things: what is life like in Redbridge for them? What would they like to see changed or improved?
The work of the Child Friendly Redbridge Partnership over the next few years will be about listening deeply to what children, young people and their families say, and then working together with them to create solutions.
Welcome to our virtual space and look out for lots more news about what we are working on.
