Redbridge Council is pleased to invite secondary schools across the borough to take part in the Redbridge Youth Eco Skills Festival (YES Fest) 2026, taking place on Thursday 2 July 2026 at Redbridge Central Library.
YES Fest brings together young people from across Redbridge for a full day of practical, hands‑on workshops designed to build essential eco skills and inspire pupils to take positive action for the environment. The festival aims to empower young people to play an active role in creating a cleaner, greener future for our borough.
About the event
Building on the success of the 2024 Youth Eco Skills Festival, YES Fest 2026 will once again provide an engaging and interactive learning experience outside the classroom. Pupils will take part in a range of workshops focused on environmental awareness, sustainability, and developing practical skills they can apply in their schools and communities.
The festival supports climate education and encourages young people to think creatively about environmental challenges and solutions.
Who can attend
We are inviting each secondary school in Redbridge to bring:
Up to five pupils
One accompanying teacher
This ensures pupils can fully engage in the workshops while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
