Planting Day on Richmond Road

Last Thursday, 23rd January, we came together as a community for a planting day on Richmond Road! Despite the cold, rain, and challenging weather, our volunteers and residents were true heroes. Together, we weeded, dug holes, and planted tulips, lilies, muscaris, and other flowers set to bloom this spring and summer.

We were delighted to have some of our local councillors join us and lend a hand. After all the hard work, we wrapped up with a well-deserved coffee, tea, and pastries at the Ilford Engagement Hub to warm up and reflect on what we accomplished.
