Steering Group Report

In June 2024 we set up the Fairlop Waters Steering Group to get input from residents on Stage One of the Masterplan. The projects included:

-New wayfinding, signage and branding

-New Barkingside entrance

-New playspace

-New pathway connecting Barkingside and Fairlop entrances

Members of the Masterplan co-design group were invited to be part of the Steering Group. They met every three months, reviewing progress. We had constructive discussions with the group and their feedback has been incorporated into the designs.

A summary of their work can be found in the Steering Group Report which highlights how the group has influenced the designs of the Stage One Masterplan works.

We are now working to bring the Stage One projects to life and will provide updates as this progresses.
