The Mayor of London, the London Borough of Redbridge and Transport for London have launched consultation on the draft Ilford Opportunity Area Planning Framework (OAPF).
Ilford is one of London's Opportunity Areas, identified as a location with significant potential for new homes, jobs and regeneration. The draft OAPF sets out a long-term vision for how Ilford can grow and change over the coming decades, helping to deliver new homes, improve the town centre, create better public spaces, enhance transport and infrastructure, and support inclusive and sustainable growth for existing and future communities.
The draft OAPF has been informed by extensive technical evidence and targeted engagement with members of the public and stakeholders. We are now seeking views from residents, businesses, community groups, landowners and other interested parties to help shape the framework.
