Understanding how children and young people feel about and experience their rights in Redbridge
We have an important day coming up, which is part of Redbridge council’s journey towards recognition as a UNICEF child friendly community and we need your help with preparing for it!
On 29th April 2025 some young people from Redbridge will be speaking to a panel of people who will decide if Redbridge is a Child Friendly Community. A child friendly community is a place where adults listen to children and young people’s views, consider our opinions and experiences, and make sure we have a voice in how things work in Redbridge.
So, we need your help! The day is a bit like an exam or a test for Redbridge. The Council have prepared lots of evidence about how Redbridge has become more child friendly, but the panel want to hear from you – children and young people in Redbridge.
Watch the informed consent video below to decide if you would like to take part. If so, there are 6 questions we need you to answer. Click below to start writing your answers!
